When we got a call to shoot a video to show the creation of this amazing outfit for the induction of Dany Laferrière into the French academy we were in awe. To get the best results we had to work closely with the artisans who were assembling this art piece. It took us many days of shoot to show the almost 500 hours of broidery and tailoring that were required to create the costume. At the outset we thought we were creating a video about fashion, but instead ended up creating a video about talented yet humble human beings.
